MAINTENANCE TIPS

  • Do not wash the car for a minimum of 72 hours after installation.
  • Remove insects or other stains as soon as possible with shampoo (do not use any solvent-based products as they may stretch/discolour the film).
  • Use Turtle Wax® Ceramic Spray Coating or Turtle Wax® Ice Seal & Shine every three months to maintain the PPF film.
  • Light scratches in the film will self-heal in 20-30 minutes at room temperature. In cooler conditions, or to accelerate the process, pour hot water (50°C) over the affected area. Use caution when using water at 50°C to avoid injury.
  • Refrain from using a pressure washer or high-pressure water near the edges of the film as it can cause the film to lift and/or become damaged.
  • Do not use abrasive related powder, clay-type cleaners, degreasers, rough sponges or paper towels.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Refer to the application manual to understand the application of PPF. The application manual provides basic information on how to apply PPF. Depending on the size and complexity of applications, a certain amount of expertise is needed. We strongly advise having the PPF applied from approved Turtle Wax Car Care Studios. All the warranty claims will be addressed by the respective Turtle Wax Car Care Studios where the PPF was applied.

Turtle Wax makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent allowed by law, Turtle Wax shall not be liable for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, in any way related to the technique of production or installation of Paint Protection Film regardless of the legal theory asserted.

Warranty is covered for yellowing / paling, adhesive failure, cracking/flaking in the middle of the film and excessive dimensional change. Warranty is applicable only for full car application and not for partial application.

COVERAGE LIMITATIONS

This warranty does not cover and we hereby disclaim all liabilities for any loss, damage, expense or cost, resulting to the product from any one or more of the following:

• By accident, misuse, and unapproved application.

• As a result of poor installation quality.

• General wear and tear.

• By heavy impact from external sources.

• Cleaning abuse and improper maintenance or failure to follow maintainance instructions.

• Damage from strong solvents or manually peeling up product or manually scratching of the product.

• Product applied on repainted vehicles.

• The degradation of materials with time due to climate conditions is a natural and unavoidable phenomenon. A slight and progressive change of the transparency and brightness, as well as a slight peeling off at the edges and around the rivets, are normal phenomena that do not fall within the scope of this warranty.

In case of any replacement, the final decision will be taken by the respective studio and the brand.
